9/10

Fabulous read. A new take on some old stories entwined. Romance. Drama. Happy moments. I give the book an extra point for originality.

You are in an environment foreign to most people and it requires some description in detail. There are two stories twisting together and a need to repeat the odd detail. The way the story is told is more romance than drama. A good read throughout and it became a bit of a page turner toward the end.

I look forward to the next book from Robert Masello.

Sinclair bent low over the wooden bunk where Eleanor lay. Though she was snugly wrapped in his greatcoat and buried under every blanket and sheet he could lay his hands on, her teeth still chattered and her breath fogged in the dank, freezing air. By the flickering light of the oil lamp, he could see that her eyes were rolling up under her lids, and her face was as white and cold as the ice that had surrounded the ship for weeks.
